How to Make a Counseling Appointment
Restoring Wellness Counseling is located in Branson, Missouri. We begin scheduling appointments starting at 9:00 am Monday through Friday. Appointment time availability ranges from 8:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday depending on the counselors availability and the form of payment. Later afternoon appointments typically fill very quickly, but we do our best to work with everyone’s schedule to get you in for an appointment.
If there are cancellations, we can sometimes get you an appointment scheduled as early as the day you call. If not, we try our best to get you scheduled within one to three days after you request an appointment.
To schedule your first appointment, you will need the full name of the client, date of birth, and phone number. You will also need a credit card to reserve your appointment. If you plan to submit Mo Healthnet insurance you will need to provide the client’s Medicaid number .
If you are unable to get an appointment the first time you call, do not give up! Your call is very important to us. Your counselor may be in a session and unavailable to answer. Provide your name and number on Restoring Wellness Counseling’s confidential voice mail or send your information from our Contact Us page. We will do our best to call you back within a couple hours. Once established as a new client, scheduling is a breeze! Appointments can then be made in advance directly through your counselor.
Appointment and Client Expectations
Appointments will ordinarily be 50-minutes in duration, once per week at a time we agree on, although some sessions may be more or less frequent as needed.
Our Counseling Appointment Cancellation Policy
The time scheduled for your appointment is assigned to you and you alone. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we ask that you provide us with 24 hours’ notice. If you miss a session without canceling, or cancel with less than 24 hour notice, you may be required to pay for the session [unless we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control]. Sessions will begin at the time scheduled. It is important to note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for cancelled sessions; thus, you will be responsible the cancellation fee.
In addition, you are responsible for coming to your session on time; if you are late, your appointment will still need to end at the regularly scheduled time, and the charge will be for the full amount of the appointment fee.
